Playing around with OpenLDAP, I’ve managed to create a little procedure on the installation and configuration of OpenLDAP.
For configuring OpenLDAP, I use phpLDAPadmin. Installing and configuring this package is also part of the procedure.

Here’s a nice tip when you need to copy files from of to a remote box:
Copy a file from a remote Linux box to your machine
scp user@remote:/remote/path/file /localpath/file
